Pendleton Classic Gatekeeper | Charcoal
Pendleton RugsAn original Pendleton design from 1935, the eight-point star, gatekeeper of the morning, shows the way to the light and knowledge of the day.
The Pendleton Classic Collection is drawn from Pendleton and other historic blanket designs.
The rugs are produced using the hand-tufted process. The carpet design is drawn onto a piece of cotton fabric and the wool pile is inserted into the fabric using a hand held yarn gun. Once the pile is in place, the back of the rug is latexed and a heavy, durable backing secured. We shear the pile of our rugs low to improve the clarity of the design.
We use high quality long fiber New Zealand wool and color fast Swiss Chrome dyes, which are consistent from dye lot to dye lot. The bold patterns and warm blending of color are sure to enhance any style home from southwestern adobe to mountain and lodge to ranch and rustic.
