Fiore Adriatic Blue

On my last trip to Nepal, I was visiting a wood block printing workshop when I spotted this very old discarded block. I made a quick print on paper, then drew and painted over it, and put it in repeat. Voil�, my favorite new rug design. Subtle distressing and vintage patina details are accentuated by the blend of olefin and polyester shrink yarns in this machine-made construction.
